UK FILM REVIEW
INDIE SHORTS MAG
PLAYBILL
Human Touch Review " Both Parson’s and Knight’s characterisations were quite good, especially with tiny quirks such as Sam’s stress ball and Lexi’s computer-operating. The most notable thing about this performance was definitely its fiery aesthetic. The red wash provided a rather psychedelic visual to this play, reflecting off of the drinking glasses on the table and reinforced by features such as Lexi’s (Elif Knight) LED glasses and bleached-blond wig. This definitely gave the piece an otherworldly feel." The Theatre reviewer
“Zoe is a heroin addict with a young daughter. Over the course of twelve minutes, we watch her spiral and see how her party-heavy lifestyle and addiction strains the relationships with her father, sister, and daughter…All the actors give reasonably solid turns, with stand out performances from Elif Knight as lead Zoe” UK FILM REVIEW

Elif Knight is a Turkish–British actress who began acting at the age of nine. She went on to train with Bob Williams MBE, later attending Rose Bruford Drama School, and continuing her professional development with Jack Waltzer of The Actors Studio.

In 2003, Elif Knight was awarded a joint Evening Standard / Patricia Rothermere Award and Scholarship, alongside Sir Richard Attenborough CBE (director of Gandhi and Chaplin). Sir Richard personally selected Elif and presented her with the award at the televised 2003 Evening Standard Awards Ceremony, commenting:

“We saw a lot of promising players, but there was one girl who stood out for us… please see her work as Cuba in Cuba Si!.”*
